Is buying a modern NES game a sign of a midlife crisis this side of the millennium? I don't know, not sure I care, but am having fun playing Hundred Rabbit's Donsol card game, now that I've figured out the mechanics. Based on a standard deck of cards, Donsol is a dungeon-attack game featuring monsters, healing and shields, and each round of four cards sees you figuring out an order to choose them in, and what your strategy is for facing the probability of cards afterwards. It's one of those games that you could play with cards, but letting the computer do all the maths for you takes the pain away, and just blat through a set of cards after set of cards.
